There’s so much information already available in books and on the internet. So, what do you look for when you attend a workshop on say, communication and leadership? You want to be able to learn something valuable – maybe even something new – right? Not sit through a litany of popular strategies, philosophies or habits.
Delapro has been giving workshops on communication and leadership for some time now and there are two ways my workshops are different. First, in developing a workshop, we always ask who’s our audience…what levels are they…what challenges are they hoping to overcome…what do they already know? So, a workshop from Delapro for one group may be very different for another group even if the title of the workshops may be similar. Delapro is very big – almost obsessive – on the value that participants get out of my workshops.
Second – and this is what makes our approach unique – the content of all our workshops is experiential. We do not regurgitate popular strategies or reproduce textbook material unless we have experienced them ourselves. And we would build our lessons from them.
This approach to learning is non-negotiable for Delapro. We believe it is what drives competency in the transfer of knowledge.
